Appearances: Just wondered if anybody knew if Yma Sumac ever made a guest appearance on the "I Love Lucy" show. Now and then a known singer would be on the show under the guise of being a guest singer with Ricky Ricardo at the Tropicana. I am almost sure I remember her appearing on the Ed Sullivan show, but perhaps memory doesn't serve me well in this case. Thanks, and fond regards!

Appearances: Neil, I'm dating myself, but I grew up watching "I Love Lucy" (the original run, not reruns!) and also grew up hearing Yma Sumac's name. But I don't remember nor have I since heard of the two coming together! It would have been interesting and certainly I'll look into it. I'm rather intrigued about the possibility.
I'm fairly sure she was never on the Ed Sullivan Show.
